Our client requires two (2) business analysts to support a large-scale business technology program. Business Analysts will be the liaison between business and technical teams, driving requirements elicitation, solution assessment, business process modeling, user acceptance testing, and organizational change initiatives to ensure successful delivery.
Work is onsite at client location in Regina, SK.

Responsibilities
Deliverables Include:
Planning documentation, requirements elicitation and use case documentationTesting materials (e.g. scripts, scenarios, etc.) and Acceptance criteriaRequirements managementJob AidsWorkshop facilitation and documentation of complex business conceptsReview and analysis / recommendations of documentationJourney mapping and Business Process ModelingMandatory Requirements
Mandatory Requirements Include:
5+ yrs in Business Analyst role for delivery of softwareExceptional communication, documentation and presentation skillsGeneral Requirements Include:
Working knowledge of PM best practicesAbility to understand complex processes and complex business rules.Ability to translate technical processes into business language.Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design.Proven testing skills and techniquesProven documentation skillsProven communication and facilitation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with SDLC best practices.Able to function within a high level of activity (working with deadlines on several concurrent initiatives).Experience writing and maintaining test strategies and test plans.Experience creating and prioritizing test scenarios to ensure proper test coverage.Experience creating/identifying/reviewing and executing manual test scripts.Experience logging defects and enhancements.Procurement Document ExperienceDesirable Requirements
Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP or equivalent) and/or ProsciBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science; and/or equivalent.Understanding of User Centered Design and Business Architecture principlesHigh adoption rates of new technologiesBusiness Process Modeling ExperienceJourney MappingUnderstanding of modern technologies and architectures.Public sector/ Utilities (Energy/Power) domain experience
