What you’ll do

:
  • Maintain monthly crude oil and natural gas purchase and sales estimates, and provide weekly pricing updates to support reporting. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with third parties to ensure contract accuracy.
  • Track pricing by maintaining historical models for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and crude oil differentials, and calculate weighted average differentials to support accurate contract pricing.
  • Develop and maintain supply and demand models for Western Canadian crude to improve forecasting of pricing and apportionment impacts, and analyze market briefings to provide recommendations that help operations stay competitive.
  • Monitor Enbridge receipts, inventories, and flow rates to proactively identify potential issues, track Trans Gas positions to support trading decisions, and provide monthly nomination data to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all deals are accurately tracked and that third-party contracts and confirmations are properly signed, filed, and returned as required.
  • Review internal and external lab data to monitor crude oil quality trends in Western Canada, and provide monthly reports to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Provide short-term vacation or sick leave coverage by understudying the Senior Scheduler to support daily scheduling duties as needed.
  • Who you’ll work with:
    The Team: You will work closely with the Physical Commodity Trader, Crude Oil Scheduler and Crude Oil Supply & Trading Manager, and will report into the Manager, Crude Oil Supply & Trading.

    Who you are:
    You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

  • Have 1-3 years analytics or logistics experience.
  • Have a University Degree, preferably in Business or Commerce (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
