The Corporate Parts Inventory Analyst is responsible for working closely with the ordering teams to support effective inventory and pricing operations. The role provides comprehensive reporting and data analytics related to inventory control, stock leveling, and data integrity.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Create and run reports for stock leveling, returns, and data integrity to ensure accurate and timely business insights.
  • Maintain and validate data accuracy within reporting systems to support reliable decision-making.
  • Run price tapes, conduct checks, and update pricing within the business system.
  • Ensure all price updates align with the organization’s overall pricing strategy for profitability and competitiveness.
  • Provide data-driven input on pricing changes to support strategic decision-making and market responsiveness.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with key vendors and their personnel to promote collaboration and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Complete surplus return documentation and coordinate store execution to optimize inventory utilization.
  • Oversee return closeouts, including AR documentation and inventory removal, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Develop and submit larger top-up, seasonal, or container load orders for review by the Inventory Manager to meet demand effectively.
  • Contribute to special projects such as product changeovers, cross-referencing, and strategic sourcing initiatives to support business growth.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the assigned business segment to guide teams and improve operational outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated history of managing inventory for regional distribution, working with department managers for local inventory at the branch.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to contribute to process improvement regarding parts processes.
  • Strong work ethic.
