This temporary role involves assisting in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of Indigenous Language Camps, ensuring smooth operations and a respectful environment. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, maintaining documentation, and providing on-site support. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills and show a commitment to cultural respect and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in camp planning and participant logistics
• Support outreach and registration efforts
• Collaborate with Elders and instructors throughout camps
• Help create safe and organized learning environments
• Document project activities and organized records
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Respectful interaction experience with Indigenous communities
• Ability to travel for camp duties
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's licence preferred
Contribute significantly to the educational mission focused on Indigenous languages and cultures.
