Community-Focused Communications Coordinator

Be a driving force in community communications as the Communications Coordinator for Carry the Kettle in Sintaluta. This full-time role emphasizes content creation and digital engagement.

We seek a creative and community-minded individual to lead communication initiatives across the Nation. You'll develop newsletters, create compelling social media content, and manage community-event promotions.

Your role is essential in ensuring accurate, culturally relevant information reaches community members in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and distribute newsletters and communication content

• Generate engaging digital content and promote community events

• Collect stories and updates from departments and programs

• Design promotional graphics and informative materials

• Ensure consistent branding across communication platforms

Requirements:

• Diploma, degree, or relevant experience in Communications

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities

• Experience with social media and content creation tools

• Knowledge of graphic design software is a plus

• Cultural awareness of Indigenous communities is beneficial
