The bigger picture
We’re looking for a strategic, execution-focused leader to come on board as our Director, Dealer Finance Operations in Regina, Saskatchewan. You will work closely with the Vice President, Dealer Finance, to ensure strong day-to-day operations, operational risk management, and organizational readiness. As Director you will play a key role in operationalizing Board-approved strategies, supporting governance processes, enabling leaders and teams, and delivering consistent, high-quality experiences for members, dealers, and credit union partners.

While Regina is the preferred location, we are open to candidates in other Conexus locations across Saskatchewan.

How you’ll be spending your time

Leading the day-to-day operations of Dealer Finance across CUDF and Drive

ON, ensuring strong execution, compliance, and consistency.

Coaching and supporting leaders across operations and business development to drive performance, accountability, and results.

Translating strategy into action by operationalizing Board-approved plans, monitoring performance, and adjusting as needed.

Partnering closely with the Vice President, Dealer Finance to deliver on business line strategy, growth objectives, and priorities.

Enabling strong governance by preparing materials, supporting Board reporting, and contributing to strategic recommendations.

Building and maintaining trusted relationships with credit union partners, dealers, and internal stakeholders.

Driving operational performance by optimizing processes, managing resources, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and growth.

Supporting the development, implementation, and enhancement of dealer finance programs and products.

Overseeing operational risk and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, policies, and audit expectations.

Acting as a key escalation point for complex member, dealer, and partner concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Advancing technology and systems enablement, ensuring the dealer finance ecosystem supports scalable, efficient operations.

Fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional experiences.

The experience you bring

Relevant post‑secondary education or relevant combination of experience

10 years’ experience in challenging financial industry positions, leading execution of complex operations

5 years’ experience in operational leadership

Demonstrated experience coaching leaders and teams

Demonstrated skills in critical thinking and business analysis

Demonstrated skills in negotiation and business development

Advanced knowledge of automotive, RV, and agricultural marketplace

Sound understanding of financial statements and impact
