Job DescriptionTD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager. The Client Relationship Associate is an integral part of the TD Global Investment Solutions (TDGIS) Institutional Distribution Team, responsible for providing high‑level client service support to institutional clients and consultants.
Accountabilities- Support business growth through preparation and coordination of the client onboarding process.
- Develop partnerships with multiple internal departments to service client requests.
- Act as the primary contact for assigned client relationships and deliver best‑in‑class service.
- Assume more complex client mandates and requests when appropriately qualified.
- Provide timely, accurate, and professional responses to client/consultant inquiries to meet service level agreements.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with internal stakeholders to support client onboarding, mandate changes, and ad‑hoc requests.
- Cross‑train on sales‑support deliverables to provide team support as required.
- Demonstrate strong time‑management and organizational skills, prioritizing deliverables amid changing demands.
- Develop a thorough understanding of product offerings and industry practices.
- Participate in project‑related initiatives to enhance client experience.
Collect outstanding documentation and satisfy compliance and audit requirements.
- 3+ years of experience in a client‑service or related role, with increasing complexity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time‑management, and organizational skills.
- High energy, results‑oriented, and self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing service or operational gaps.
- Bilingual in English and French is preferred.
- University degree plus completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC); enrollment in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation program is an asset.
- Knowledge of Canadian investment management and pension industry is an asset.
- Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
