Position: Financial Management Analyst at City
Join the City of Regina as a Financial Management Analyst and leverage your expertise in financial systems analysis and reporting. This role focuses on supervising staff and enhancing financial operations through Oracle EBS.

Your primary responsibilities will include performing complex financial analyses and leading the development of compliance policies aligned with Public Sector Accounting Standards. Engage with the Municipal Benchmarking Network and ensure data integrity while compiling important financial reports. Your skills in guiding and mentoring staff will be pivotal in driving improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced analysis of accounting processes

• Lead policy development for financial compliance

• Supervise and develop staff within the finance team

• Create financial reports for legislative requirements

• Implement process improvements in financial systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 3-5 years of experience

• Knowledge of municipal accounting and legislation

• Proficiency in Oracle EBS and reporting tools

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Valid driver's license required for operational purposes
