The bigger pictureAs a full-time Financial Services Advisor II (FSA II), you are responsible for understanding our members’ financial goals and supporting their achievement through the provision of sound financial advice. This includes the offering and fulfillment of financial services and products, including consumer lending and investments (including mutual funds).
How You’ll Be Spending Your Time Member experience and sales- Proactively identify members' financial goals and provide advice and solutions to support their achievement through the provision of introductory financial planning
- Provide account, investment and lending products, within scope of position, to meet member needs:
- Memberships and accounts including lines of credit
- Consumer investment products including mutual funds
- Complex consumer lending products
- Cards, including identifying needs, recommending appropriate products, completing applications, and ongoing account support
- Registered products
- Safety deposit boxes
- Mobile banking solutions
- Day to day banking needs
- Conduct proactive outreach activities to educate members and prospective members on the value and function of our products and services
- Increase retention and expansion of member relationships by referring members to appropriate subject matter experts, based on needs, and follow-up to ensure member satisfaction
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely documentation
- Adhere to security and operational policies, procedures and operational controls
- Ensure a healthy balance between opportunity & risk and between growth & profitability (e.g. through understanding and application of profitability margins in rate negotiation, fee subsidies, etc.)
- Positively represent Conexus externally to support the growth of our membership and to enhance credit union system support and collaboration
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve operational efficiencies
- Provide support, assistance and backup as required for retail team
