Functional (job responsibilities)- Manage the Retail Division P&L. Provide strong leadership to guide and lead the various LOBs in optimizing corporate resources to support overall consumer business growth
- Work with the CRO/Head of Risk and Consumer Credit & Collections Head in managing credit and operational risks that is in line with business objectives and HLBCAM PFS Credit Underwriting Policy and Manual.
- Build a strong integrated sales and marketing organization. Increase and retain bench strength. Create close independent partnership among the business units. Support and co‑ordinate with all inter department/functional requirements to ensure that all programs/activities/new launches are implemented effectively.
- Work closely with marketing to build brand awareness and appropriate marketing and sales strategies and programs. Focus on building product differentiation and relevance.
- Provide Product Development support retail and priority banking value proportion.
- Manage cross functional teams, Branch Operation, sales and service teams and ensure synergy between the teams. The PFS Management team will include BMs, PB Manager, Mortgage Managers and Products development Manager who will have report line to this position.
- Set and enforce a high standard of productivity, quality and service levels
- Value add and build a strategic sustainable consumer banking value proposition.
- Develop and improve operational process for superior customer experience
- Supervise and coach direct reports in their respective LOBs to improve their business performance and contributions
- Lead by example the highest standards in terms of teamwork, customer and staff care, and management competence and ethics.
- Develop the skill set and capabilities of the staff in line with the market’s changing landscape
- Be a senior member of HLBCAM Leadership team and to provide leadership and strategic direction to the organization
- Other tasks assigned by MD/CEO and Matrix Line
- University Degree and / or professional qualification in business or banking related field
- At least 10 years’ experience in the banking sector including at least 2 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
- Experience in consumer lending, sales and marketing, product development and branding, branch management is added advantage.
- Good planning, organization, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Leadership, credit, operation and numerical skills
