Overview  We are seeking a motivated and results-driven  Area Manager in Training   at Regina, SK , who can join our team. This is a unique opportunity designed to provide hands-on leadership experience in preparation for a future  Area Manager  role.
As an Area Manager in Training , you will be working closely with the Area Manager and you’ll contribute to operational success across multiple sites while gaining hands-on experience in multi-unit leadership. This responsibility is designed to accelerate your growth and prepare you for a future Area Manager role through real-time exposure, mentorship, and strategic involvement.
Responsibilities   Manage all aspects of sales performance, staff development, customer experience, and profitability of the area assigned to you.
Promote clear communication, understanding, and belief in the company’s mission and goals. Inspire and coach all employees to work toward a unified objective.
Own monthly and weekly revenue and profit projections, ensuring alignment with business targets.
Oversee Store Managers to ensure staff scheduling aligns with daily and weekly revenue expectations.
Review monthly sales objectives and develop actionable strategies to meet or exceed targets.
Provide timely and effective guidance to Store Managers and direct reports to ensure operational excellence.
Foster a culture of growth by supporting direct reports in their roles, enhancing engagement and driving top performance.
Build strong, positive working relationships with staff and partners to support overall company performance.
Lead training initiatives that support organizational goals and employee development.
Enforce all company safety policies and procedures consistently across all locations.
Respond promptly to store-level emergencies, ensuring resolution or escalation through appropriate channels.
Identify deficiencies across stores and provide actionable solutions and coaching to improve performance.
Take ownership of store and job profitability by identifying improvement areas and implementing strategic initiatives.
Maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization to support the company’s mission.
Attend store-level and head office meetings as required to stay aligned with company priorities.
Participate in regular leadership training and development activities designed to prepare you for advancement to an Area Manager position.

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support business needs.
Qualifications   Must have 3-5 years  Multi-Unit store  management experience in the retail industry, cannabis retail industry preferred.
Bachelor's degree (B.

A. or

B. S.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have Canna Sell Certification  and Clean police record check.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software and use of the Internet.
The candidate must be well spoken and possess the ability to speak clearly and confidently in all business settings. The ability to conduct and reside over meetings.
Excellent Business Math skills. The ability to read, understand and calculate math calculations such as discounts, interest rates, percentages etc. Ability to apply concepts of basic math and written skills.
The ability to delegate, set expectations and monitor progress of all direct reports.
Motivate, inspire, provide, and accept feedback to and from employees.
The prioritization skills necessary to use time effectively and set action plans to achieve business targets.
The individual takes responsibility for subordinates' activities, be available to staff, provides regular performance feedback, develops subordinates' skills, and encourages growth.
