We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven and self-motivated Area Sales Manager to join our Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Prospect and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate, government, sports and SMERF segments to grow customer baseWork with travel partners constantly to remain top of mind for accommodation needsCreate a lead generation funnel and convert sales leadsDevelop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clientsRespond to Requests for Proposals in a timely mannerManage existing accounts for the properties through follow-ups and regular sales visitsManage and regularly update accounts database and business details efficientlyCoordinate site inspections for community and hotel eventsKnow the local markets and perform a yearly SWOT analysisAchieve and surpass revenue quotas on a monthly and yearly basisEngage in networking activities inside and outside the hotel to secure new businessMaximize rates and NOI using ROI templatesBusiness Solicitation:
Organize sales blitzes within local area and out of townTravel locally to conduct sales calls, promote the hotels and review competitionRepresent hotels at trade shows, exhibits and community eventsCarry out telemarketing sales, mail-outs and local advertisingNegotiate and maximize up-selling and cross-selling opportunities across departmentsQuote and negotiate prices within established parametersPrepare and issue contracts and addendums as neededRelationship Management:
Identify key decision makers of sales accounts and build strong business relationshipsMaintain hotel relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and account revenueAct as a liaison between the hotel and groups, ensuring smooth execution of group staySupport hotel service personnel and relationship strategy to drive customer loyaltyProvide exceptional customer service and knowledge of hotel facilities to potential clientsDevelop relationships within the community to expand client baseQualifications:
Experience in hotel regional sales and/or related field will be an advantageStrong organizational, time management and multitasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilities and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well both independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, POS and hotel property management systemsBachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field.
