We are searching for a dedicated Senior Aquatic Biologist to enhance our fisheries team in Saskatchewan.
Your role will involve managing freshwater fisheries programs, coordinating field projects, and ensuring quality deliverables across various sectors. You will also provide mentorship and technical advice, contributing to the growth of junior staff and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the main contact for client inquiries
• Manage and plan fisheries programs focusing on fish and habitat
• Coordinate field programs and oversee project delivery
• Conduct senior reviews on technical reports
• Develop positive relationships with clients and regulators
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Biology or Fisheries, graduate degree preferred
• 10+ years of consulting experience in fisheries biology
• Registered Professional Biologist or Technologist accreditation
• Strong project management and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of fisheries regulations
