We are in search of an ambitious Senior Aquatic Biologist to join our fisheries team s position involves leading fisheries assessments and managing diverse projects across mining, oil, and gas sectors. You'll contribute to the development of junior staff while ensuring the execution of quality environmental programs that adhere to federal and provincial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be the primary contact for fisheries-related client projects
• Develop and manage comprehensive fisheries programs
• Coordinate field activities and ensure quality data collection
• Provide expert review on various fish habitat reports
• Foster positive interactions with clients and regulatory bodies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Biology or Fisheries; a graduate degree is a plus
• Over 10 years of relevant consulting experience required
• Professional Biologist/Technologist registered status required
• Strong organizational and mentoring abilities
• Expertise in aquatic survey methods and environmental planning
