Drive impactful local projects as an Environmental Scientist with Stantec in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This role involves extensive fieldwork and close collaboration with diverse environmental professionals.
As a part of a dynamic team, you will support a range of sectors, including infrastructure and mining, focusing on environmental assessments and compliance. Your key responsibilities will involve conducting biophysical surveys, monitoring projects' environmental impact, and achieving quality report delivery during construction phases. The position requires a minimum of three years of related field experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide environmental monitoring during project phases
• Conduct biophysical surveys complying with regulations
• Support development of regulatory permits
• Complete data management and report preparation
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in biology or environmental sciences
• 3-4 years of field experience in environmental monitoring
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and species at risk
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Valid Driver’s License and clean abstract
