In this full-time permanent role, you'll be instrumental in overseeing wetland habitat projects across southern Saskatchewan. Your responsibilities will include conducting field inspections, operating water control systems, and negotiating with landowners for project executions. Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills are essential to drive conservation efforts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field inspections for wetland habitat projects
• Operate and maintain water control infrastructure
• Coordinate repairs and rebuilds with landowners
• Manage contractors and assist with project budgets
• Build positive working relationships with stakeholders
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in environmental science or related field
• Minimum 3 years in natural resource management
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge of safety practices and project management
