About the Role

Amrize in Saskatoon, SK is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our Construction division. As a Finisher, you will provide support in all areas. You will be responsible for placing and finishing concrete (flatwork and curb & gutter), setting up forms, prepping base course, and being involved in the demolition of existing concrete.

What You’ll Accomplish
  • Place and finish concrete in flatwork or curb projects
  • Ensure quality of finished work
  • Set forms for grade and design
  • Operate small power tools
  • Prepare base for final grade and compaction
  • Assist in demolition of existing concrete
  • Check work
  • Know how to use hand and power finishing tools
  • Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each task
  • Be involved in daily safety meetings
  • Possibly operate small equipment (skid steer, mini excavator)
  • Demonstrate commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies; promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
What We’re Looking For

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Required

Work Experience:

Prior experience in a concrete placement

Additional Requirements
  • Prior work with power tools
  • Prior work with mobile equipment
  • Safety oriented
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in a quick‑paced, high‑production environment
  • Willing to work overtime when needed, including Saturdays
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Able to work well with others
  • Good communication skills
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize‑approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
