Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Landscape Foreman role based in Regina, SK. The Landscape Foreman oversees day-to-day field operations, including planning, organizing, and leading crews to complete landscape construction, maintenance, and improvement projects safely, on time, and to specification. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting site plans, coordinating materials and equipment, assigning tasks, and monitoring quality and productivity throughout the workday.
The role involves hands-on work such as grading, planting, hardscape installation, and irrigation setup, along with routine inspection and troubleshooting of site issues. The Landscape Foreman also ensures compliance with safety procedures, communicates clearly with clients and internal project managers, and maintains accurate daily reports, timesheets, and site documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong landscape maintenance skills, including turf care, pruning, seasonal clean-ups, and routine site inspections.
- Experience with irrigation systems, including installation, adjustment, repair, and efficient water management.
- Knowledge of landscape management practices, such as scheduling, resource allocation, and site quality control.
- Understanding of landscape design principles and the ability to interpret drawings, plans, and layouts on-site.
- Hands-on experience with landscape construction, including grading, planting, hardscape installation, and use of related tools and equipment.
- Proven leadership experience supervising field crews, mentoring team members, and fostering a respectful, inclusive work environment.
- Commitment to health and safety standards, with the ability to enforce safe work practices and complete relevant documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- 3-5 years of previous experience in commercial or industrial landscaping and familiarity with construction sites with 1+ years in a leadership or foreman role.
