Disaster Restoration Technician

We strive to return our client's home or business to its pre-loss condition quickly and effectively, restoring peace of mind.

Job Duties

Extract water/sewage from flooded properties and install drying equipment

Tear out affected drywall, flooring, cabinetry etc. to prepare for the repairs

Asbestos abatement and containment set up

Availability for evening and weekend on call one week a month in addition to regular full time hours

Accept direction from Foremen and senior co-workers and communicate daily with Foremen and Management

Maintain a clean jobsite and equipment at all times

Perform general labour on jobsites and in shop when needed

Skills & Abilities

Good problem solving skills

Work in a team environment

Able to lift and manipulate heavy content

Previous restoration experience and/or certification is an asset but not essential – we are willing to provide training

Conditions of Employment

Valid driver’s license

Clean Driver’s Abstract

Must be willing to be flexible with work schedule, as required for on call work. Overtime is paid
