Black & McDonald is currently seeking an experienced Service Refrigeration Technician to join our Service Division in Regina, SK. The Refrigeration Technician position is located in Regina, SK and will report directly to the Service Supervisor.

• Maintain customers' refrigeration systems.
• Work on RTUs and HVAC systems.
• Inspect system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, fan motors, fans, and expansion valves.
• Perform system checks, system troubleshooting, and refrigerant recovery.
• Perform electrical and gas system troubleshooting.
• Maintain records including daily service logs, refrigerant recovery reports, and service records.
• Research and resolve complex system problems.
• Complete assigned paperwork and forms.
• Conduct safety inspections, including proper use of personal protective equipment, and verify that safety regulations are followed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration technician.
• HVAC certification.
• Brazing and soldering skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.

• Clean Class 5 SK Driver's License and abstract.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor with fellow employees, customers, and stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and mobile device applications.
