Fleet Maintenance Mechanic at GFL

Become a key player in GFL’s Fleet Maintenance division as a Journeyman Mechanic. Repair and maintain Hydrovac trucks and Heavy Equipment while contributing to an organized team in Regina.
The position offers a chance to work with meticulously cared for equipment in an environment that emphasizes safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates are dependable, organized, and experienced, with a Journeyman certificate and their own tools. You will handle various repairs and diagnostics, shaping the performance of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work

• Repair mechanical systems like hydraulic and drivetrain

• Ensure safety compliance with GFL standards

• Test repaired equipment thoroughly for operation

• Document repairs accurately for records
Requirements:

• Journeyman certification in Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License; higher classes preferred

• Strong troubleshooting abilities on diverse machinery

• Ability and willingness to work overtime when needed

• Knowledge of SGI Motor Vehicle Inspection Program helpful
