TCEnergy Mechanical Technician Position

Location: Swift Current

Become a valued Mechanical Technician at TCEnergy in the Swift Current/Medicine Hat area. This opportunity involves performing maintenance and troubleshooting on natural gas compression equipment independently.

The Heartland Area Team is searching for a skilled technician who can work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Your role will include the repair of gas engines, compressors, and essential auxiliary systems while leading junior peers. You'll contribute to our commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and maintain gas-fired reciprocating engines

• Assist with partial and complete engine overhauls

• Operate compressor engines and auxiliary equipment

• Perform alignment and measurement tasks

• Analyze performance reports to ensure efficiency

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent

• 2+ years of relevant mechanical experience

• Completion of a relevant trades program

• Valid driver's license and clean driving history

• Availability for emergency on-call shifts
