Responsibilities   Install formwork holding the concrete in place and ensure surfaces are clean and inspect for casting problems.
Directly pour concrete by truck; pour, level and level concrete with rake, trowel, float and screed using hand and power tools as appropriate.
Monitor the influence of weather conditions on the drying process and adjust work plan accordingly.
Apply sealing and hardening components to concrete surfaces.
Operate electric vibrator to achieve proper concrete compaction and quality.
Cast and build expansion joints using carpenters and lacing tools.
Polish the surface with an electric polishing machine when required.
Qualifications   Baccalaureate or equivalent education.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a mason or concrete worker.
Capable of standing for long periods and able to lift heavy materials; kneel for long periods as needed.
Knowledge of hand and power tools including electric vibrators, sanders, coil saws and lacing tools.
Able to work shifts, nights and holidays as needed.

Work schedule may include Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning shifts
Salary: $25.00 - $33.92 per hour
