Journeyperson Welder Afternoon Shift

Finning is expanding its team and looking for two experienced welders to maintain and repair construction and mining equipment. This role requires a valid interprovincial welder ticket and emphasizes safety and communication skills. You will perform above-ground and potentially confined space work, all while completing essential technical documentation and collaborating with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Caterpillar equipment routinely

• Perform manufacturing equipment maintenance tasks

• Complete service reports and technical documentation

• Interact with customers and sales support teams

• Collaborate with Service Supervisor and Leadhand on tasks

Requirements:

• Journeyperson welder ticket with interprovincial certification

• Valid driver’s license for required tasks

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proven ability in vertical, flat, and overhead welding

• Ability to wear a respirator and pass fit testing
