Waterworks Labourer

Position: Full-Time Waterworks Labourer
S&T Property Maintenance is hiring a full-time Waterworks Labourer in Regina, offering a pay scale between $20 and $30 per hour based on qualifications. This position concentrates on the maintenance and repair of municipal water systems.

We are looking for a hardworking individual with 3-5 years of experience in construction or utility labor. The successful candidate will assist with various waterworks tasks, including manual excavation and the operation of tools. A valid driver's license is essential for this role, along with the flexibility to work on-call or overtime as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help install and maintain water mains and service lines

• Conduct manual excavation, shoveling, and back filling as required

• Operate tools safely on the work site

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and assist in traffic direction

• Respond promptly to any emergency service disruptions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

• Construction or utility labor experience considered beneficial

• Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions

• Knowledge of trenching and excavation practices necessary

• Strong communication and teamwork skills are crucial
