Iroquois Falls Waterworks Maintenance Role

Take on a significant role in the maintenance of municipal waterworks with the Town of Iroquois Falls. As a Waterworks Maintenance Worker, you will engage in essential repair and maintenance functions requiring a strong technical background.

Reporting to the Waterworks Supervisor, your duties will encompass general labor and the upkeep of municipal facilities, including water treatment plants and wastewater systems. This position requires shift availability and participation in on-call duties, making it suitable for dedicated individuals with a focus on community service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on municipal water and sewer systems

• Conduct repairs in treatment facilities and hydrants

• Participate actively in shift rotations and on-call duties

• Uphold safety standards in all operational tasks

• Collaborate with team members for efficient service delivery

Requirements:

• Valid Class 'G' driver's license with no infractions

• Completed Grade 12 education or an equivalent

• Willingness to achieve necessary Water and Wastewater certifications

• O.I.T. certifications mandatory for this role

• Proven ability to communicate effectively and work independently
