Mining Mechanic Position

Elevate Orano’s mining operations in Regina as a full-time Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic.

Your role will focus on maintaining and optimizing critical machinery in a dynamic environment.

This permanent position requires a blend of technical ability and hands-on experience in millwright maintenance. You will perform tasks ranging from preventive maintenance to complex repairs such as pump rebuilding. Collaborating with various teams, you will uphold safety standards in a fast-paced mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead millwright maintenance at the site

• Rebuild pumps and maintain equipment

• Remove and service pumps, fans, and agitators

• Perform oil changes and undertake welding tasks

• Maintain an organized and safe workspace

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic certification

• Journeyperson Machinist and Heavy Duty Mechanic experience is advantageous

• Strong grasp of mining mechanical systems

• Ability to work outdoors in different conditions

• Availability for shift work, including overtime
