Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented to join our team as a Maintenance and Construction Specialist. This role involves performing a variety of technical tasks related to building, repairing, and maintaining facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands‑on experience with tools and systems such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and physical endurance.

Candidates should be prepared for heavy lifting and working with power tools in a fast‑paced environment dedicated to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and structural components

Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction or repair tasks

Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively to assemble or repair equipment and structures

Conduct inspections to identify issues requiring maintenance or replacement

Assist with construction projects including framing, carpentry, and assembly of mechanical systems

Troubleshoot mechanical problems using schematics and technical manuals

Perform heavy lifting of materials or equipment as needed for project completion

Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used

Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during operations

Qualifications

Proven experience with mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, welding, or general maintenance

Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Ability to read technical drawings including schematics for electrical or mechanical systems

Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and work in physically demanding environments

Experience with construction projects or assembly work is preferred

Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy machinery, welding, electrical work, and working at heights

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting
