Interpro Pipe Protection Coating is a leading provider of pipe coating solutions for the oil and gas industry. Our facility relies on complex automated systems and advanced electrical infrastructure to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

As the Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, continuous improvement, and implementation of our control systems, power distribution networks, and industrial robotics.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians.
  • System Management:
    Oversee the preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • Coordinate and execute electrical and automation projects
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for complex electrical, controls, and robotic system failures
  • Identify and implement innovative automation and control system improvements
  • Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring all electrical and automation work is performed in strict compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company procedures.
  • Serve as the facility's subject matter expert on all electrical and automaton matters
Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician and Instrumentation Technician with Interprovincial Red Seal Certification
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in industrial automation and electrical systems
  • Extensive, hands-on experience with Siemens PLC
  • Experience servicing and fault finding of induction heating equipment
  • Strong understanding of industrial controls, robotics, and safety systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software (e.g., SAP).
  • Valid drivers license
