Job Duties:

• nstall fire sprinkler pipes and sprinkler heads in buildings.
• Read drawings to understand where pipes and sprinklers need to be installed.
• Measure and cut pipes to the required size.
• Connect pipes together using fittings, couplings, or threads.
• Install valves, hangers, brackets, and other sprinkler system parts.
• Connect the sprinkler system to the building's water supply.
• Test the sprinkler system to make sure there are no leaks and that it works properly.
• Repair or replace damaged pipes, sprinkler heads, valves, and other parts.
• Check existing sprinkler systems and perform regular maintenance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts to complete the work.
• Work with other trades and supervisors to complete projects.
• Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Report any problems with the sprinkler system to the supervisor.
• Help load, unload, and move pipes, tools, and equipment at job sites.
