Experienced Journeyperson Automotive Technician
Automotive Unlimited is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician with strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys figuring out the difficult stuff. Someone who takes pride in accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and solving problems that aren’t always obvious the first time around.

Responsibilities- Advanced diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair drivability, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, and A/C concerns
- Repair and maintenance of cars, SUVs, and light trucks
- Use scan tools, wiring diagrams, technical information, and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify concerns
- Complete repairs properly and efficiently once the cause has been identified
- Work independently while contributing to a strong team environment
- Several years of industry experience beyond apprenticeship
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent understanding of modern vehicle systems
- Ability to work through complex problems methodically rather than relying on parts replacement
- Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s licence
- Own professional tools
- Experience with Pro Demand or similar repair information software
- Experience with advanced scan tools and lab scopes
- Aftermarket accessory and performance upgrade experience
We’re an independently owned shop that has grown by putting a strong emphasis on quality workmanship, accurate diagnostics, and doing the job properly.
We invest in modern diagnostic equipment, technology, and training because we want our technicians to have the tools and information they need to do their best work.
Our workload is varied. One day might involve routine repair and maintenance, the next a difficult electrical or drivability concern, diesel work, or an aftermarket and performance build.
We’re adding to our team as the shop continues to grow, and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with it.
