The purpose of a NIGHT AUDITOR is to compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records, and to check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.
Key Responsibilities- Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
- Run all required reports for Food and Beverage audit.
- Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
- Balance the day’s work and maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures.
- Maintain Front Office computer system operation and fulfill all Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
- Handle and follow through on all guest requests daily from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Follow safety and emergency procedures and maintain radio contact with other employees throughout the shift.
- Prepare and distribute the Daily Flash Report.
- Maintain proper record keeping and logs.
- Ensure employees remain attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
- Perform any other duties requested by supervisor.
- High quality of work: accuracy, thoroughness, and self-monitoring.
- Productivity: meets or exceeds productivity standards and produces adequate volume of work efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills: responsive to client requests, provide high quality service, and solicit customer feedback.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Qualifications- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Interpret and perform basic math functions.
- Interpret and perform basic computer and POS system functions.
Indoor work environment with minimal to moderate noise levels consistent with a hotel setting.
- Stand less than two-thirds of the time.
- Walk less than two-thirds of the time.
- Sit more than one-third of the time.
