We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team! The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the Director of Human Resources.

Performance Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR Department
  • Assist with the recruiting and onboarding process
    • Post open positions and monitor job boards.
    • Interview candidates for role fit.
    • Initiate and audit new hire paperwork.
    • Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
    • Manage sidekick program.
    • Assemble and send new hire onboarding kits.
  • Maintain and process all Unemployment Notices in a timely, efficient manner.
  • Assist/lead the development of HR processes, policies and systems.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Complete payroll for all six of the Schell Brothers companies/subsidiaries on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Maintain and track employee files ensuring company compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • 2+ years of HR experience (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task with attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office Products
  • Self-motivated, team player with excellent people skills.
  • High level of discretion with confidential material
