Overview

Christiana Care Home Health is seeking a Full Time Field Nurse RN to support Sussex County, DE (Georgetown, Lewes, Rehoboth). The successful candidate will provide home health nursing care and collaborate with families, the patient’s physician, and other health care providers to build a care plan that meets the patient’s needs.

Posted sign-on bonuses are available for eligible external candidates; internal candidates do not meet bonus eligibility requirements.

• Perform and document clinical assessments of patients at time of admission.
• Precept other nurses who are taking on admission duties.
• Initiate and participate in team meetings and/or independently collaborate in interdisciplinary discussions regarding patient care or practice.
• Enhance professional growth by staying current in clinical practice and incorporating research into practice; participate in councils, committees, and task forces.

• BSN required; ADN candidates must acquire a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within three (3) years of start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
• OASIS proficiency required; acquire OASIS certification within 18 months of start date.
• IV proficiency or willingness to train and achieve proficiency within 3 months of start date.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05. This range reflects good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual salary depends on skills, experience, and qualifications. Benefits information is available to eligible positions.
