Job DescriptionReports to the Assisted Living Director/Memory Care Director. This position is exempt salary.

Salary Range: $25–27/hr.
Job OverviewAssists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities as well as provide administrative duties such as staffing scheduling, phone call assistance, scheduling appointments and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties- Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents, staff and families.
- Coordinate interviews and orientation for new team members.
- Ensure all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
- Document and update the EHR as directed and under the supervision of the HWD.
- Appropriately utilize and keep electronic documentation “devices” safe and secure within the community.
- Participate in and attend all in-service training sessions as scheduled.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
- Perform and oversee staffing scheduling (state specific), including on-call availability for callouts and schedule changes.
- Assist with communication via telephone, facsimile and/or email with families, physicians, third party vendors and/or staff.
- Schedule appointments for residents as directed from the nursing staff.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or ED.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
- An associate in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
- High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year resident care experience required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Caregiver experience
- Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population
