As a Field Merchandiser, you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, your ability to establish retailer relationships, while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels as well as support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, when needed. On occasion you may have the opportunity to work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.
Salariesand Schedule Details
- Starting hourly pay rate $15.50 - $17.50 per hour depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
- Part‑time employees offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, etc.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours 11-15 per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends is required.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Use technology for daily work, communication with the supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. - Holiday support:
Additional days and extended hours during leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May be required to work on the actual holiday itself, including weekends. - Department resets:
Team responsible for installations and tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which could include evenings or weekends. - One Team Vision:
Part of Hallmark’s field organization, you support other team members as needed in their territories.
This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and sense of urgency. Working on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. Must push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the day and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and sometimes climb stairs and step ladders.
BasicQualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, write and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Have access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
