The Cashier is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service to customers. This role handles cash, credit, and electronic transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Cashiers maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with bagging, stocking, and customer inquiries as needed. By delivering excellent customer service and attention to detail, the Cashier helps create a positive shopping experience and supports overall store success.

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and electronic payments.
• Deliver friendly, helpful service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with bagging as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while following company policies and cash-handling procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience in customer service, retail, or food service
• Must meet minimum age requirements to sell restricted products (tobacco and, if applicable, alcohol) in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Fast-paced retail grocery store.
• Frequent interaction with customers and team members.
• May involve exposure to varying temperatures (e.g., near entrance or refrigerated areas).

Salary range is between $15.00 - $18.00 Hrly
