Job Description & How to Apply Below

Clean Energy USA, part of the Schell Brothers family, has installed over 2,500 systems since 2007, making us Delaware’s premier provider. We work with both residential and commercial customers to install solar panels on new construction as well as established homes or businesses.

Instead of being stuck in an office all day, Installers get to be outside … interacting with both our homeowners and co-workers. Experienced Installers can move quickly on a job site. Solar panels are not installed until the very last step of the job. This means that things can be tweaked on the roof up until the last minute. As soon as sun hits the panels, they are producing electricity, so extra precaution is needed, and safety is our number one priority.

Simply put, working at Clean Energy USA is: AWESOME! We work hard but also get to enjoy a pretty sweet perks like: unlimited time off, generous benefits, and employee appreciation events. We also pay our Installers a very competitive salary along with potential for kW installation bonuses.

  • $1,000 bonus after 90 days (performance based)
  • $1,500 additional bonus after 1 year of service (performance based)
  • Clear promotion path from Installer to Lead Installer to Field Supervisor
  • Company-paid training and NABCEP certification assistance (they pay up front and when they pass, they submit for reimbursement).
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to collaborate with other Team Members.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual, and honest.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Personable and polite, with excellent people skills.
  • Devoted, positive attitude and a strong commitment to service.
  • Able to work legally in the United States, with a valid, driver’s license, and clean driving record.
  • Able to withstand deep background, credit, and reference checks.
