** Job Overview
** The Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for maintaining a variety of landscape structures that range from typical grassy areas like lawns or gardens to more granular items such as houseplants. This person will also assist with any pruning tasks needed during their shift.
** Responsibilities and Duties
*** Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy landscapes.
* Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, weeding, and mulching.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
* Engage in tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as needed.
* Participate in hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
* Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and servicing.
* Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
** Job Requirements
*** At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Crew Leader
* Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers
* Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance
* High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification
