- Call response time: 45 minutes to 1 hour
- Call scheduled every night and weekends in between/end of rotation
- North Carolina medical license
- DEA
- ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications
- Supervision: Yes - 1 MD and 4-6 CRNAs per day
- Cases: No trauma, no OB
- Annual Cases: 4,900 (General, ortho, gyn, GI)
- Role:
- Preops, PACU, boards, some blocks (CRNAs do blocks too)
- Float/breaks during the day
- 85% supervised cases, 15% own cases
- Procedures: Must be proficient in spinals, blocks, epidurals
- Case Logs: Required
- Number of providers during day: 5-7 (1 MD + 4-6 CRNAs)
- Number of ORs: 4-6
- EMR System:
