Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical Telemetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' health status and vital signs.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, utilizing Rapid Response/Code teams as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting.

• BLS certification is required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.

• Experience in telemetry and managing dysrhythmias.

• Valid nursing license in the state of practice.

• Epic charting system experience is required.
