LPN Med Surg

Cone Health seeks a compassionate LPN for our Med Surg unit at Annie Penn Hospital on night shift. In this role, you'll provide bedside nursing care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, assist with treatments and procedures, and support RN care plans for diverse adult patients. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, document accurately in the EMR, and educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult med-surg patients on night shift
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and LPN scope
• Monitor, document, and report patient status, vital signs, and responses to care
• Support and implement RN care plans and assist with procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation and follow hospital protocols
• Promote patient safety, infection control, and quality standards on the unit
