Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a long-term care unit, requiring 2+ years of experience, BLS certification, and EPIC proficiency.

• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Skilled nursing facility or nursing home experience preferred
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed)
• Valid driver's license required to verify address

• Long-term care unit within a skilled nursing facility setting
• Geriatric patient population with a 1:27 patient ratio
• Performs trach care, wound vac management, TPN administration, central line care, IV therapy, G-tube care, and PROM machine use
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7p-7:30a)
• Every other weekend required with holiday coverage as needed
• May float to other units when department volume is low, including other campus locations
• Responsibilities include patient admissions and discharges, vital sign monitoring, pain assessment and management, wound care, isolation precautions/PPE, and medication administration
• Experience with total joint replacement, BiPAP/CPAP management, and central line care preferred
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, and no local rates apply
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
