Company Overview
SWISSto
12 is one of the world’s fastest-growing aerospace companies, evolving from its pioneering use of 3D printing technologies for high-performance Radio Frequency (RF) products and applications to recently announcing the manufacture of entire geostationary telecom satellites, called Humming Sat, that define a new category in space. Humming Sat is the world’s first commercial telecom GEO Small Sat developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).
Its uniquely compact size combined with highly capable telecom payloads allows telecommunications operators to deploy a cost-efficient, compact, and agile asset without sacrificing performance or security. Humming Sat has been selected by Intelsat to build the I-45 satellite, by Inmarsat to build three I-8 satellites, and recently by Astrum Mobile to build the NEASTAR-1 satellite. SWISSto
12 is also a leading provider of Radio-Frequency (RF) products and sub‑systems for satellite communication and remote sensing applications. The company’s patented 3D printing technologies and associated product designs are unique to deliver lightweight, compact, highly performing, and competitive RF products. Acting as the central coordination point between Engineering, Manufacturing, AIT, Quality, Procurement, Logistics and Project Management, the MAIT Lead ensures that products progress efficiently through the organization while minimizing overall cycle time, bottlenecks, waiting periods and delivery risks.
The role requires a strong transversal vision across multiple projects and product lines, the ability to understand operational constraints, and excellent coordination skills to align priorities and react rapidly to changing situations.
- Own the end-to-end execution flow of RF products from manufacturing to final delivery.
- Monitor progress of all hardware across the MAIT process, ensuring efficient transitions between manufacturing, inspection, integration, testing and shipment activities.
- Identify and remove bottlenecks affecting delivery performance; minimize idle time and optimize overall production lead time.
- Coordinate activities across Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration & Test, Quality, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering and Project Management to keep stakeholders aligned on priorities, schedules and risks.
- Maintain visibility on workload, resource constraints and project priorities; react quickly to schedule changes, material shortages, quality issues or technical challenges.
- Track product status, manufacturing progress, delivery milestones and key operational metrics; elevate risks and propose mitigation plans.
- Identify schedule, quality and operational risks; coordinate recovery plans and corrective actions; support resolution of non-conformances and material shortages.
- Improve MAIT processes, interfaces and coordination mechanisms; standardize planning and tracking methods; drive initiatives to increase throughput and operational efficiency; contribute to scalable processes supporting company growth.
