We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Glasgow for the position of MET Technician. This opportunity is suitable for experienced MET Technicians seeking to advance their careers within a reputable vehicle repair centre. Duties of the MET Technician:
  • Conducting mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on vehicles of various makes and models
  • Diagnosing faults accurately and implementing effective repair solutions
  • Using modern tools and equipment to ensure repairs meet high standards
  • Completing repairs within specified time frames and quality guidelines
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of repair work and parts used
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements for the MET Technician position:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or in a similar role within the automotive sector
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced repair environment
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
  • Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are advantageous
  • Familiarity with manufacturer procedures and accreditation is desirable
