We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting various business functions, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical ability and strong communication skills.

• Prepare general entries, period end reconciliations and continuities, and draft financial statements and reports.
• Prepare weekly cash flow requirements and funding requests.
• Manage royalty/lease payments.
• Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Assist with year‑end audit requirements
• Assist with reviews of Accounts Payable & Payroll functions as needed.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables, to analyze financial data and support decision‑making processes.
• Prepare Power Point presentations as needed.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and clear communication while interacting with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Continuously seek opportunities for learning and professional development, while being receptive to feedback and coaching.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent years of working experience.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred, or actively working towards certification.
• 5‑10 years of experience in general accounting, financial statement preparation, project accounting, cost accounting, cash flow, budgeting & forecasting.
• Experience with SOX level internal controls preferred
• Experience in the mining, manufacturing, or construction industry is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
