Senior Accountant

Questor Corp is a small company operating multiple businesses in several states. We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to own our day-to-day financial operations. You'll work directly with leadership and play a key role in keeping our books clean, our reporting accurate, and our finances healthy as we continue our growth.

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Own the general ledger — maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience; CPA a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books Online, Sage, and enterprise accounting systems)
• Advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently in a small-team open office environment in Midtown, to foster collaboration
• Clear communicator who can explain financials to non-finance stakeholders

• Experience with ERP systems
• Property taxes

$75,000 – $80,000/yr. 401(k) with match.
