Job Title:
Invoice Specialist Job Description Responsibilities
Identify key information on various vendor invoices.
Investigate charge validity and identify discrepancies.
Allocate charges to the correct accounts and orders.
Utilize various systems to keep records up to date.
Keep detailed notes on current processes and procedures.
Communicate internally and externally as needed, both in writing and orally.
Submit and process claims and credit memos for invalid charges.
Review contracts for up-to-date compliance.
Invoice processing
Accounts payable
Data entry
Accounting
Excel data entry
Purchase order management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Invoicing
Skills & Qualifications
Deductive reasoning and investigative skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Professional communication skills over both email and phone
Experience with SAP, People Soft, and Oracle
Background in logistics and data analysis

Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, this full-time position requires on-site presence from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. You will be part of a small team of three members, not including the manager, who provides direct feedback in a collaborative setting. The work culture promotes learning and growth, with the manager actively using feedback as a teaching tool.
Employees benefit from a 401K with a 4% match after six months, eligibility for an annual COLA and/or merit bonus after 12 months, and 13 days of PTO that increases by 40 hours after the third-year anniversary.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
