Controller, Accounting, Financial Compliance

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
• Develop and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls as the company scales.
• Own the finance side of the ERP system, improving processes, reporting, data integrity, and system functionality.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and other financial planning initiatives.
• Manage external audit relationships and coordinate annual audits and financial reviews.
• Oversee tax and payroll accounting activities and related compliance requirements.
• Manage accounting for equity programs and employee stock plans.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes and build scalable financial infrastructure.
• Lead and develop accounting team members while establishing effective processes and priorities.
• Partner with executive leadership on financial performance, business decisions, fundraising, and growth initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Active CPA license
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Proven leadership experience managing, mentoring, and developing accounting teams
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proven experience leading month-end and year-end close processes
• Experience with ERP systems and financial process improvement
• Experience managing external audits and working with outside accounting advisors
• Strong Excel and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with executive leadership.

• Technology, SaaS, or software industry experience
• Experience in a venture-backed or high-growth startup environment
• Fundraising or investor-facing experience
• ERP implementation or transformation experience
• Experience with equity compensation and employee stock programs
• Experience leading and developing a growing accounting team
