Job Description

Novo is seeking a reliable, motivated and team-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Office Team. This position is within an office environment in Reno, Nevada. We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for growth.

Essential

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for identifying initiative, scope, objectives, and project plans for efforts driven by or needed by Novo and/or Customer. The Project Coordinator must be able to understand core business service objectives, processes, and to translate those needs into a clear definition of process and technology requirements. Projects may range from simpler process enhancements to larger complex Novo enterprise solutions. The Project Coordinator is responsible for facilitating meetings, managing expectations, scope management, issue and risk management, and frequent status reporting.

Job Duties
  • Achieves project results (time, accuracy, value-added service, etc.).
  • Assembles project schedule from base information and is responsible for working with operational leaders to ensure project execution.
  • Provides timely updates on the status of projects within the operation to stakeholders.
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure alignment between Novo and customer.
  • Develops and presents options in a concise manner when roadblocks are reached.
  • Ensures deliverables are met as defined in the project in order to achieve success.
  • Track and report performance metrics, action items, issues, and risks.
  • Able to identify improvements to processes that can increase quality, efficiency or reduce cost.
  • Prepare status reports and presentations suitable for varied audiences.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal staff to ensure effective communication with all related functional areas.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with safety procedures and expectations.
  • Perform others requests and duties as assigned by the Project Manager / Inventory Control Manager / General Manager or upper-level management.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures, in addition to safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of general warehouse work instructions, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
  • Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Skill in typing and general computer literacy.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to see the overall picture.
  • Ability to use good judgment when determining to elevate issues and options.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the business organizations.
  • Ability to negotiate win/win compromises while representing the best interests of the project at all times.
  • Ability to multi-task across all projects assigned while maintaining an eye for detail.
  • Ability to set goals and implement plans to achieve.
  • Ability to solve problems and adapt to situations requiring solutions to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Ability to maintain records, organize documents, calendar, and other assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with partners, team members, management, and others.
  • Ability to multitask in stressful and fast-paced environments.

  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Education, Experience, And Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience with warehousing, distribution, or other project-driven field preferred.
